At first, Pence claimed in a meeting with justifiably concerned Republican Senators that the U.S. wasn't ending its security partnership (or, as North Korea would have it, "war games" ) with South Korea. Then, when that leaked out, the White House changed the story about what Pence may or may not have said, and that Pence was 100% behind Trump. There have been multiple, conflicting accounts as the White House scrambles to come up with a story that pleases all the "right" people. It's a tough needle to thread, as you can guess.

They are, after all, sovereign countries and not protectorates of Emperor Donnie Two Scoops.

Maybe he could make another propaganda film for North Korea.

S.Korea does not control that. If S. Korea wants to have its own drills no one is trying to stop them. It is long past time for S.Korea to defend itself. The S.Korean military is one of the largest in the world and thanks to the U.S. taxpayer it is well equipped and well trained.

Why should we squander out resources so Europeans can have abetter standard of living than we do?

We should not be the worlds cop. We have more than enough to handle on her own.

Too bad Johnson didn't stick by his own words..

"We are not about to send American boys 9 or 10 thousand miles away from home to do what Asian boys ought to be doing for themselves." this goes for Europe as well.

My dislike and disdain for the current President doesn't make me blind to the facts.
