(10,274 posts)Her response will get a response by about Tuesday (and that will NOT include any kind of 'what role DID we play in hyping the Nothing?, if any?.
But I'd very much like to nominate her for a DUZY for that comback. Someone tell me how to do it?

(42,862 posts)... that serves to remind and emphasize that which is already obvious. This means I won't have to take any unnecessary risks by offering my own personal thoughts, analysis and commentary about that. Well, anyway, I'm sure you know what I mean, so I'll just leave it at that. Happy Friday!!

(2,181 posts)I still don't know why Comey said Hillary was extremely careless.she did not put here e-mail server in to receive or send classified e-mails.it was suppose to have been for regular day to day e-mail...by rights Hillary could have threw the people at the State Department under the bus for sending her unmarked classified e-mails but she never did.
Crutchez_CuiBono
(7,725 posts)were listed as classified AFTER they were sent...like by a few years.

(5,955 posts)..and asked them under oath if they A) Have a private email account, and B) Have ever used it to discuss government business...EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM would be forced to say 'yes.' Starting with that pointy-headed peakock Trey 'Cletus' Gowdy.
WANT PROOF?
Do you remember a couple of years ago when the House Republicans ginned up a huge faux scandal over the fact that the NSA had intercepted emails from the Israeli government trying to sabotage the Iran negotiations? It lasted a couple of days, and then, suddenly, every Republican mysteriously shut up about it.
Why? Most likely because THEY were caught by the same intercepts, talking to the Israeli government about how to sabotage the Iran negotiations, using PRIVATE EMAIL addresses. I'd bet a month's salary on it.

(182,877 posts)Hillary and Colin and Condi all used personal servers or personal accounts because the Fed email system is horrific.
In the convoluted IRS Teabagger whinefest we learned that they can only keep emails that are 6 months old - we have to keep records for 5 years.
The IRS still keeps records on magnetic tape.
There is a server the Secret Service still uses (not sure for what) that dates to the "War Games" movie.
The fed employee info breach is more about security but it's in the same vein.
When Mnuchin was going through his confirmation, Orrin Hatch (of all people) asked if he was committed to upgrading technology in the Department of the Treasury. Mnuchin said it was long overdue.

(7,403 posts)With so many federal employees using private email servers how did they come to the conclusion that only Hillary Clinton should be investigated?
This was always a partisan witch hunt that opened the door for a Trump presidency so I don't buy for a second there was no political bias.
KitSileya
(4,035 posts)Her huge crime was to use a server they couldn't hack because it was in the basement of a former president...

But we are supposed to believe the public legitimately chose him................

(81,458 posts)I'm sad about how much has been destroyed, hobbled, overturned, and otherwise fucked with.
But I'm absolutely aghast to hear the comments from reporters who say "I've talked to these folks. They're all in for him. They LOVE what he's doing!"
I just can't freakin' believe that. And I sure as hell don't understand it.
Hillary blows my mind as to her wit and good nature, particularly after such an epic betrayal. A true class act.
What a contrast!!!

(22,877 posts)official servers are so obsolete and clunky. Colin Powell loudly said the he had used a private account as Secretary of State. It was never a crime. It was just an excuse to hound HRC and keep the conservative meme about the "depravity" of the Clintons alive.
