I don't think he'll get the support by most in his Party to pass this. Let him make this attempt - because in my eyes - this could just make the situation worse for the Repugs.

I would think that if this is written just to close that loophole that Nielsen was talking about - Cruz should get the support of the Dems. If many in the Repug Party don't support this and if fails to get through - then it is apparent who the real obstructionists are and the Dems can make Trump and the Repugs own this issue.

One or more GOPers will introduce a bill that prohibits what Trump is doing, but it will also drastically change immigration law in other ways even beyond Donald's dumb wall. That's why people have referred to these kids as hostages. Trump has given Congressional GOPers the opportunity to create a monstrously restrictive and cruel immigration system while looking like the good guys, and trying to make Dems look like they are voting against protecting the kids he is abusing.

Step 1 - cause disease. Step 2 - offer cure. Step 3 - profit.
