Takes a fair bit to get this 51 year-old man to cry at the drop of a hat.

But they were streaming down my face this afternoon as I listened to the cries of little girls wanting their “papa” or to call their aunt whose number she’d memorized.

Gut wrenching doesn’t cover it.

Took me a few minutes to compose myself and then I dialed up Sen Rubio’s office and blistered him

Anyone doing any harm (physical or verbal or emotional) to a child is about the worst possible action anyone could ever take

They are innocent. Completely vulnerable.

The GOPers don't seem to be bothered in the least, though. I hope they fry in hell.

I'd like to see the frickin asshole who thought no contact was a damn fine idea.

It just reinforces the image of these places as a hell hole where monsters work.

I’m emotional but I’m great in a crisis. I have a level head. This has had me in tears all day. My only hope is that thousands upon thousands of us are blistering their asses.

was crying at work today after he listened to the Pro-publica recording.

I don't think I've seen him cry since he was ten years old.

For the most part, they are much less uptight and narrow minded than many Americans.

Decorum and class. Seems sooo long since we had that in the White House. 18mos feels like 18 years

This POS has done some truly terrible things in his life, but this one is the worst. It's inhumane, reprehensible and beneath us as a people. We are better than that, we are not in Nazi Germany or in 1940s US where Japanese/Americans were sent to internment camps, at least those families were allowed to remain together.

I despise the man. I hope that something happens that will remove him from office. There's never been a bigger lowlife in the WH.
