marathoner from Ethiopia have a chance for a better life. Saudi women had a chance to compete for the first time.

I find it hard to get excited about the NBA players beating up on Nigeria - but a lot of less-fortunate athletes have had a chance to shine, and succeed.

I have been enjoying the hell outta these games!! It kinda doesn't even matter if America wins all events either. I really cheer on any of these amazing athletes when they try soooo hard. I love competition! Yea, I'm a mark for the Olympics
