It's not normal the way he does it, but yes I do.

Obama blamed the Republicans a lot and attacked fox news specifically (rightly so). His whole, I have a pen and a phone thing comes to mind, he was particularly hard on Republicans at that time.

Bush got sorta lucky that after 9/11 the country rallied together but after the 2000 election there was talk about Democrats before 9/11.

Clinton blamed Republicans while he was being impeached.

The easiest way to think of it is how stupid our Congress is during the SOTU when only one side claps... Right after those speeches the President's all go out and blame the other side for not doing things.

most presidents try very hard to appeal to all americans, or at least to transcend party.

they tend to make specifically partisan comments only when there's already a specific partisan fight, e.g., obama complaining about republicans blocking his appointments.

but most of the time, they call on "congress" to pass the bill they're pushing rather than specifically complaining about the opposition party's lack of support.

reagan and shrub were more partisan at times. shrub in particular had a general contempt for democrats, but was nothing compared to donnie.

donnie lives and breaths shameless, over-the-top hyper-partisanship. he sees it as a plus to demonize democrats. he is in no way trying to be president of democrats. on the contrary, he's trying to destroy us.

I think the GOP is doing a disservice to this country by not standing up to him.

I agree with your response.
