I drive a bus for a summer camp and durring the ride in this AM the kids

started chanting BOO Donald Trump, BOO Donald Trump for about a minute. The camp consoler asked them to stop. Then they started chanting BOO Mike Pence. I don't know what started it but brought a big smile to my face.

I remember reminding my parents and older brothers when Election Day when I was twelve. Of course, I didn't need to since my family discusses politics and votes in every election.

Mike Pence is?!

Most Americans have no idea who th VP is.

Never mind. I saw the answer up thread.

Wow! I’m impressed. Not only that they were ordered to stop so they did, but that they just continued by changing one part of the chant. They’re going to be a force to recon with when they don’t have to submit to orders anymore.

The first time I heard it I was confused and another time a child complained to me that this other kids was putting him down by calling him twitlers name. I just give a blanket comment, “we shouldn’t be naming calling each other as a put down”. Inside I am laughing and smiling with a tern look on my face.

Kids see the bs of Twitler. We don’t even have a picture of him in the schools I work in. They still have President Obama up on the wall. And I haven’t seen a Twitler scholastic book like they’ve had for other presidents. I just looked it up and they do have a scholastic book and it’s already controversial and many librarians won’t buy it for school libraries.

Little girl: Mom, why is Donal Trump like a Jack O Lantern?

Mom: I don't know, why is Donald Trump like a Jack O Lantern?

Little Girl: Donald Trump is orange, a Jack O Lantern is orange, Donald Trump has an empty head a Jack O Lantern is an empty head, and they both get thrown out in November.

They are getting it from their parents. Is it a blue city? I taught 6th grade in 1996 and at a school that is mostly GOP due to it being near a military housing base. This was when Clinton was a pretty big favorite over Dole and the students wanted him to win due to the influence of their parents.

were in 1996. Kids watch lots of youtube and pick favorite channels. They are heavily influenced by youtubers and most of them are young adults in their 20s.
