A new petition is trying to get the city of Washington, DC to revoke the liquor license for the Trump International Hotel on the basis that owner President Donald Trump lacks moral character.

As the Washington Post’s David Fahrenthold reports, the complaint filed with the D.C. Alcoholic Beverage Commission notes that the city’s laws on liquor licenses clearly state that anyone who receives such a license should be “of good character.”

Because of the multitude of scandals surrounding Trump, his administration, his businesses and his family, the complaint asserts, he does not meet the “good character” qualification and should thus have his hotel’s liquor license revoked.

“Donald Trump, the true and actual owner of the Trump International Hotel, is not a person of good character,” the complaint bluntly states. “The Board owes it to the public to investigate the owner’s lack of good character now.”

Since he is the epitome of rectitude (at least in his mirror and echo chamber), then everyone that stays in one of his dumps should not drink, should only get one scoop, should not show an IQ above 45, and should enjoy the pissoirs waiting in each room.
