unless someone equally or more crazy comes along. That is if many of them don't die in an uprising against the "Deep State" they think took him down. I have heard a few of them say if he can't get stuff done like the wall, they would give up on politics.
These folks can only be motivated by an authoritarian cult leader type like Trump. They are primarily Jerry Springer, conspiracy types, completely out of touch with reality and if the GOP starts running someone moderate like a Romney or John Kasich who is respectful minorities and wants to mend fences with NATO etc., it won't be enough for them to grab for their ky jelly. In fact, someone like that would be a big turn off for them.
The real test to see if the country can shed itself of this infestation of want to be Natzi idiots will be to see if someone as crazy can't get the next nomination or gets clobbered in the general election. Their little dream world will be shattered and they would be demoralized with many of them giving up or a few only being brought out to vote with wedge issues. We will all be a lot wiser as to how fragile our Democracy is.
