An Alabama musician who penned a disgusting anti-immigrant rant on Facebook just found out that there are consequences for threatening to shoot migrant families who are crossing the border.

Birmingham guitarist Phillip McCain is now losing work and has been thrown out of his band, Buck Wild. So far, three venues have canceled his gigs so now he says he “misspoke” (LOL) when he said that he will “volunteer to shoot their a**es when they approach the border. Problem solved. No more illegal f*cks coming in here. Period.”

Sure, that’s a total misspeak. So, he continued misspeaking.

The now-out-of-work guitarist said that he was only expressing his opinion and he just wants to protect the United States’ borders at any cost.

One of the venues that canceled McCain’s gig is a Mexican restaurant whose manager is an immigrant and says the clientele there is diverse. McCain told AL.com that not only did he lose his job with the band, but also $3,000 in future performance fees and three solo shows.
