I just can't get over this....

The fact is that Donald Trump is not the Problem! His bottom line base isn't the problem either...

It's the goddamn people in this Country who Conflated Dems. with Repubs and decided there is no real difference between the two. So they either stayed home and didn't vote or they got snookered by the America First Bullshit and voted for Trump...

That went on in the elections. Yes his base is full of deplorables, but I suspect it is way smaller than is projected.

flipping votes. Russia was poised to do a cyber attack and they succeeded a nd we got a asshole to do Putin's bidding. And also Putin saw a division in the people and he acted on that too. And we remain divided decent and indecent. Facts and no facts.

When you mean "stealing the election" you're talking about manipulation of voting machines.. Correct?

I wondered about that and still do. Have not heard 1 thing about it... Lots on suppressing the vote... However...

Americans are historically not great at turning out to vote. Most people have only a vague idea of politics and don’t care because they don’t see the connection to their daily lives.

I vote, but I know a lot of decent people who don’t bother because they don’t know what’s going on outside their lives. Most of the people I know have no interest in politics.

is interesting, people in other parts of the world who can't vote wished that could, and those who can vote take it seriously.

with blaming people who don’t Vote here. You can’t make them vote or make them get interested in politics. Why expend your energy on what you have no control over? It will make you crazy and they still won’t care or know anything about politics.

When Trump policy begins ruin our healthcare system..Those on medicare and medicaid will learn what the term Block Grants and Privatization means... And believe me our economy is gonna take a dive soon..

That's how they're are gonna get "interested" real quickly.

food is rotting on the vines in Florida and Cali.

They don't have to be attending to the minutiae in the political world but to believe that politics has no connection to their daily lives is sad.

It has nothing to do with "decency" or not. To be a good citizen requires a basic understanding and basic participation in decision-making.

The people who did not vote do bear some responsibility for the situation we are in. If you can't show up a couple of times every 2 years to decide how the laws in your community, your county, state, and nation are made, then you get the leaders who are chosen by the most rabid (and most willing to cheat) people in the country. You get Donald Trump.

Not voting also determines elections. My point is that we shouldn’t blame them as if they had deliberately sold our country down the river. Getting mad at them is a waste of energy which is much better used by blaming the people who deliberately do evil. Otherwise we do their bidding by fighting everyone but them.

I think that people are frustrated however, that such evil was met with such apparent apathy. Personally, I can muster up enough energy for upset and mild scolding of people who thought is was acceptable not to vote, and anger and action against the actual people doing evil.

I do agree that there can be an inordinate amount of time spent beating up on people who agree with Democrats 80%-90% as opposed to those who actively undermine the foundations of our democracy.
