(19,348 posts)National Hotline/Politico...the Beltway mafia are touting this as the end of the Democrats.
They did the same thing in 2006.

(2,050 posts)It's obvious they'll try anything and everything so why not just continue lying?.
If that info is coming from our side they are mistaken and need to get out of the way.
I believe, but even if I didn't think there was a blue wave coming I'd still get out and vote.
An old anology still works for me, the pukes are bringing a knife to a gun fight and they are going to lose.

(1,028 posts)They still don't understand how many women are completely ticked off. The Women's March was a major sign that they missed and it has not gone away.
They still don't understand that millennials an the current generation are ticked off. Younger voters are sick and tired of the bigotry and arcane laws.
They still don't understand that the silent majority is disgusted with this administration.
The Blue Wave seems to be catching them off guard in every election.
They still don't get it.

(19,348 posts)From the summer of 2009 onward, the same media could not shut up for a second about how unpopular Democrats were.
They had already determined the GOP the winner of 2010, even though they did not take the lead in the polls until the Spring of 2010.
At that time, their lead was on average 1%.
Democrats have been leading the whole time since Christmas 2017, we have won 43 state house seats, a US Senate seat, a US House seat, and closed the gap in several dark red districts, yet we are being told that it's all over.
The GOP has been working the Ref's for the past 50 years and it has worked.

(10,837 posts)Only of we let it. The Trumpsters can scheme and lie all they want. The trolls can swarm all they want--we see you. But the debacle of the Trumpster Administration is set in concrete.
You're all Dead Men Walking! Get use to it. Because the earthquake and Wave is coming.

(3,344 posts)Maybe because campaign season has only just started and Republicans are bringing out an organized message (of scary brown people, of course), which motivates Republican voters?
Time and again I'm told Dems will do awesome then they don't show up to vote on election day.

(10,130 posts)In fact, quite the opposite; especially in the context of all of the special election seat flips.
