Anyone following the KC mayoral race?
It's in 2019 but with Jason Kander declaring and five of the major candidates being under 40 it's a race that will get lots of attention next year.
Right now my kid is an intern with the coordinated campaign (McCaskill/Galloway). She's talking about getting her car in better shape (college kid with a junker) and competing for an intern position with Kander. A few candidates would be fantastic as mayor but he has national clout that will benefit KC and benefit her resume.
Anyway, just a race to watch next year. It's all everyone is talking about around here this week.
