John Bolton: "The president determined, despite the political noise in the U.S., that direct communication between him and President Putin was in the interest of the United States, in the interest of Russia, and in the interest of peace and security around the world."

(18,837 posts)Congratulations to Maxine Waters, whose crazy rants have made her, together with Nancy Pelosi, the unhinged FACE of the Democrat Party. Together, they will Make America Weak Again! But have no fear, America is now stronger than ever before, and Im not going anywhere!

(9,600 posts)Putin is making the decisions within the Trump administration. Americans just have not understood that yet.
Trump is actively undermining Germany for Russia's benefit.

In fact, here's what Bolton said about Russia just four months ago:
Bolton said the Russian leader lied to Trump when they met last July at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, and Putin denied interfering in the U.S. elections. Trump later said he believed Putin....
Trump got to experience Putin looking him in the eyes and lying to him, denying Russian interference in the election, Bolton wrote in an op-ed in The Telegraph last July, a few days after the G20 summit. It should be a highly salutary lesson about the character of Russias leadership.
And it should be a fire-bell-in-the-night warning about the value Moscow places on honesty, whether regarding election interference, nuclear proliferation, arms control or the Middle East: negotiate with today's Russia at your peril, he added.

(82,849 posts)Because I have seen no evidence of it at all. Considering how badly Trump got rolled by a minor league ham-and-egger like Kim Jong Un, Putin will pants him, take his lunch money, and give him a swirly and Trump will be smiling the whole time.
