and agree. Our leaders have no passion and do not think strategically. For of course, they are too busy preaching to us about civility. I think I am about to have a headache.

She didn't mention Maxine Waters by name, but she was clearly taking Waters to task. WTF?

There’s a case to be made that Mitch would love to drag this out past the elections. Can you think of a reason why that might be? Because I sure can.

"I gotta make this speech, even though no one will heed it, because I have to say something, even though I know I won't do anything about this. But I'll be on the record of reminding the Trump Party what the rules are. What else can I do? (Is it time for lunch yet?)"

I believe in walking softly but carrying a big stick. But sometimes he just walks softly. No stick.

One thing that stalling on Trump's nominee is guaranteed to do is fire up their base and send them them swarming the polls.

You think our chances of taking the Senate are rough now, imagine what it's like when thousands of whipped up right wingers are on a mission to keep that seat in Republican hands and will crawl over rusty razor blades to make sure their vote is cast.

There are, unfortunately, no good answers. Perfect example of a Catch 22: if we fight it they will whip their base into a franzy unseen before but if we don't then they will take it as permission to kick sand in our faces.

Lets watch how we respond for fear of how they respond

Lets temper OUR FIGHT for fear of how they might respond

So if they are willing to kick our asses no matter what, I don't know about you, but I'm willing to take that fight right to them.

Its like James Shaw Jr said that day Travis Reinking entered that Waffle House hellbent on killing everybody - you gonna have to earn your kill today. He took that fight right to him.

If every D rep, and leadership in particular, don't use every tactic at their disposal to stall this they need to be kicked out to the curb.

This is what we get for going high when they go low - fascism.
