(25,270 posts)I was making a point that with all the news about kidnapped kids and supreme court justices - the Parkland Students that are on a road tour with the mission to register voters have kind of been forgotten. My comment was a reminder that they are still a factor in the Nov Midterms.
Now take a look at the link I'm providing about the Nov 2018 Midterms. I kind of took your response to me as a bit 'snarky'.

One thing we all need to think about - registering people to vote is only half the story. They still have to show up at the polls on election day and vote. We need to keep our focus on getting the American People to the voting booth in Nov. even if it means picking them up at their homes and transporting them to the polling place.

I agree about getting them to the polls as well. We have lots of work to do.

(21,754 posts)In 2008 we had a concert in the park and set up a registration booth. A lot of people registered who had no intention of registering to vote that day. They come to check out the music and decide that they might as well register to vote while they are at it
Highly recommended.
