If you were attacked by a grizzly bear, would you fight him fairly?

If you were attacked by a person with a weapon who had threatened to kill you, would you be concerned about following long-established rules of boxing?

In our fight against the monstrous Trump regime and it's announced intent to reverse a woman's right to choose, gay citizens' right to marry, long-established legal protections for minorities and requiring insurance policies to cover pre-existing conditions, what "rules" should we follow, given that the opposition ignores all rules?

As Officer Malone asked Elliot Ness in "The Untouchables": "WHAT ARE YOU PREPARED TO DO?"

But, honestly, you all keep describing movies. This isn't the Reverent, The Untouchables or the Death March of Bataan.

He used an analogy, which I think most on here understand. No it isn't the Death March but neither you nor anyone else knows for sure where this is all headed. We could be on the road to violence. And even if it's not our democracy is threatened, which many, many people at the highest levels are warning about. Trying to downplay this fight is not only wrong but makes people complacent.

And the op did indeed say something about a movie, "As Officer Malone asked Elliot Ness in "The Untouchables": "WHAT ARE YOU PREPARED TO DO?""

He was using a movie line just like he was using an analogy. And yes you were downplaying it, obviously.

It seems to have struck a nerve with you so I apologize. My humor can be dry, but when two people describe our situation and all read like an advertisement for actual movies and one quotes from an actual movie I find it funny. Movies usually end well, I dont believe that this will at all.

Calling Trump a piece of shit or giving him a stupid nickname, that's fighting on Trump's turf.

last year a family of bears destroyed my bee hives, chicken fence, a chicken (fox got a couple as well), bird feeders, compost...…..

this year I put 7000 volt electric fence around all I hold dear.... my new bees are thriving, compost is composting, chickens are laying eggs, etc.... all is well (ummm the bears did get up on my porch and drank the hummingbird juice but I fixed that right away)

the bears, the fox, skunk, raccoon……. respect that fence and stay away!!!!

we need to fight smart, fight tough with high voltage!!!!
