Justice Kennedy's son worked at Deutsche Bank. Was Trump's "most important lender"--more than $1bn

Wow, NYTimes buries the lead: Justice Kennedy's son who worked at Deutsche Bank was Trump's "most important lender"—more than $1 billion for real estate when no other bank would go near him

NYT:

____One person who knows both men remarked on the affinity between Mr. Trump and Justice Kennedy, which is not obvious at first glance. Justice Kennedy is bookish and abstract, while Mr. Trump is earthy and direct.

But they had a connection, one Mr. Trump was quick to note in the moments after his first address to Congress in February 2017. As he made his way out of the chamber, Mr. Trump paused to chat with the justice.

“Say hello to your boy,” Mr. Trump said. “Special guy.”

Mr. Trump was apparently referring to Justice Kennedy’s son, Justin. The younger Mr. Kennedy spent more than a decade at Deutsche Bank, eventually rising to become the bank’s global head of real estate capital markets, and he worked closely with Mr. Trump when he was a real estate developer, according to two people with knowledge of his role.

During Mr. Kennedy’s tenure, Deutsche Bank became Mr. Trump’s most important lender, dispensing well over $1 billion in loans to him for the renovation and construction of skyscrapers in New York and Chicago at a time other mainstream banks were wary of doing business with him because of his troubled business history...

DB was the only big bank in the US to fail. Three others got weak passes.

...it was loud enough and right in front of the TV cameras, and everybody saw & heard Cheeto single Justice Kennedy (and Kennedy's son) out. Probably Pootie told him to do that, because otherwise he's too self-centered to even think about anybody else.

There were 2 other similar posts here on DU, one has fallen off the front page and the other is about to fall off.

The M$M is complicit. The NY Times with sweet Judy Miller's article given to her by the Bush White House was most likely the #1 impetus to push us into the Iraq war. Waiting on the M$M to lead the way is wishful thinking. Three posts here on DU will soon be off the board, I predict.

I apologize, one of the posts that I said had fallen off is still very much alive.

..against our Country, our democracy; the rule of law. Damn, if Mueller pulls at every thread this corrupt guy in WH is [has been] involved with, he'll never end the investigation ...it is a seemingly unending black hole.
