...EVERYTHING tRump* says and does is designed to cater to his "base," the gang of deplorables that he hopes will keep him in power. The "base" has infiltrated the GOP to the degree that the GOP is terrified of doing anything that would offend or rile up his base. This is the cult of tRump*.
