(7,725 posts)The man spends 40K+ on a phone booth( only the CIA can hear him in), why would he buy a used mattress? Plus we pay for it all. Smells fishy now that doc brought it up.
Getting rid of evidence under the noses of investigators maybe? Like that suspicious fire in trum tower. Seemed real strange when it happened. Just what all got burnt in that apartment? They couldn't throw stuff out bc the Secret Service and FBI were monitoring everything.
I dunno, once they get caught lying once...let alone THOUSANDS of times, we have to question everything for nefarious details. What a bunch of thugs.
Having a high old time on the tax payer largesse. Sky's the limit when your signature is backed by the US Treasury.
Just as an ODD off the cuff thing. What if these commemorative coins are passing information to putin? What is up with these stupid commemorative coins? Guess you have to question everything. Ugh.

But going logically....
THAT mattress wouldn't prove anything. However, a spring mattress with lots of room in between the coils, and a "tear" on the side offers a great way to store things.

He's a cheapskate and I bet he was thinking that when his person called and said the Sec. of the EPA wanted to buy a used mattress he was thinking they'd say "oh we wouldn't dream of giving him a used mattress, let us send over a new one".
