Don't trust MSNBC legal analyst Danny Cevallos

He is a flaming righ-winger.

Just on air, he argued that Roe v. Wade, though legal precedent, has zero constitutional standing, and is "built on a house of cards."

Of course, that contradicts the assessment of bigger legal minds than his.

He then rejected arguments by Sen. Booker and others that Trump shouldn"t get to make a SCOTUS pick while under criminal investigation. Cevallos said there was no constitutional or statutory provision for it, totally ignoring the fact McConnell succeeded in blocking Garland on a much flimsier rationale.

Cevallos is probably just biding his time at MSNBC until he gets picked up by Faux News.

RWers don't understand the Constitution and always misinform their base with constant lying about what it actually means.

On Craig Melvin's show, they were discussing Trump's cancelation of Obama's college Affirmative Action policy. Danny suggested that a benefit of Trump's move was that it helped "reverse the growing expansion of the Administrative State."

That sounds like a pretty close paraphrase of Bannon's famous "deconstruction of the Administrative State" line.

Probably a MAGAt.

I usually change the channel since our viewing is probably noted. I used to mute the tv but now I quickly switch to TCM, the classic movie channel.
