8. Just like anywhere else

we've got old people who do nothing all day but stare at a TV turned to FOX news. Many of them were raised by parents or grandparents who were snatched by the government and brainwashed into thinking their culture is evil and Jesus is the answer. They no longer identify as Native and think voting conservative will make them look even more white to their white neighbors.
The good news is - the younger generation (and I still include myself at 57) can see through that BS.
