Exciting finish but I wanted Denmark to win for big sis and her folks.

That said those were some awful penalty kicks from tired legs.

(61,690 posts)the goalkeeper's legs after he had committed to go left. If he had waited a split second, the Dane could have aimed left (goalkeeper right) and made the point.

(5,969 posts)it should have been because it would have been a goal 100% with a shot on an empty goal.
But the rules were changed that it's not a red when the foul occured after an attempt to hit the ball. So according to the rules, it was a correct decision. But this was an instance were a red felt more right.
