I discovered THE ANSWER to what's gone wrong for the past three years!!!!
Among many other things:
The ascendancy of Donald Trump,
The presidency of Donald Trump,
Evangelical abandonment of principles (showing the superficiality of their sense of religion?)
Republican abandonment of principles including:
--law and order
--the federal budget
--free trade
Not to mention volcanoes, increasingly radical climate change, eruptions of terrorism and violence in the middle east and Europe, American abandonment of multilateral defense responsibilities, etc., etc., etc.
God's drunk!
Three years ago last Thursday, God became terribly frustrated at his "noblest creation": man and woman, but chiefly man. After he had sanctioned the species's greatest experiment, democracy, after well over two centuries to still be intransigent, racist, intolerant, loyal only to clan or tribe, devoid of vast areas of consciousness dealing with the self, etc., etc., etc., God was due for a bender.
And boy, did he get he his due!
You bet!
