Mueller or Avenatti: Who would you pick as your lawyer?

Which approach do you prefer, the quiet, serious lawman or the grandstander who publicly exudes extreme confidence? If you were involved in a high-profile case, would you choose Robert Mueller as your lawyer or would you prefer Michael Avenatti?

The point of the thread is for you to choose one or the other.

I have never needed to have a legal battle fought in the public square. That seems to be Avenatti's niche.

I tend to prefer Mueller's low-profile style in general. I have to say, though, that Avenatti has been pretty effective in presenting his cases to the public. We'll see how he does where the rubber meets the road in a trial.

will boost or sink Avenatti's reputation, to a large extent. It will be fascinating to watch it all play out.

8. Depends on the case. Both are very intelligent, but going against those who would use the media

to bias the jury pool or to wage reputation-destroying warfare ahead of time, clearly Avenatti is your guy.

In truth, Mueller is the quintessential PROSECUTOR, so that does not always translate well to DEFENSE law.

One is a prosecutor, the other an advocate--in current circumstances and temperament, I think.

I mean, who would be foolish enough to select him, other than Dolt 45?
