What has Trump done to US you ask? - Poll: Record low say they are 'extremely proud' to be Americans

HE HAS SHAMED US.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- This Fourth of July marks a low point in U.S. patriotism. For the first time in Gallup's 18-year history asking U.S. adults how proud they are to be Americans, fewer than a majority say they are "extremely proud." Currently, 47% describe themselves this way, down from 51% in 2017 and well below the peak of 70% in 2003

being "proud to be an American" has nothing to do with supporting the current administration.

When I was in the military in the 70s and people asked me why I was supporting Nixon and the war, my response was that I didn't agree with Nixon or the war, but that my country would still be there and strong long after both were ancient history.

and embarrassed deeply at the same time. No I know I didn't vote for this shit show but I'm still American and responsible for it. I travel overseas and seem to do a lot of apologizing and explaining now.

"celebrate" the 4th in any way. Given the wildfires in CO right now, I will gladly report those violating mandatory no-fireworks ordinances, however. So, I guess I'm likely going to put the damper on some "law abiding" ( ) Trumpsters, instead. So be it.

sigh...

If you paid any attention or even read about twitler you would have known he was insane and unacceptable. It was right there in front of you. Only listening to fox was not a way to pick a president. You have to research the candidate and their past.

When I was in Europe in March, I said I was from San Francisco not America because I am disgusted with this country and the direction it’s going.

and disgusted and pissed off something fierce, but i'm not going to toss out the baby with the bathwater. This nation is going to hang in there and go back to what it was once all these assholes are out of work. And the sooner the better.
