Sadly it was from a good friend of mine. We may disagree on politics but I've known him for so long and love the guy like a brother. But he posted a meme today that said "Knives dont kill people...people do" w/ a link to the story of the knife attack in Boise. Of course there were a bunch of comments saying idiocy like "ban assault knives". Normally I just let his political posts go, but this time I couldnt. I said, "people always say if there arent guns people will use knives, which this guy did. But notice no one died. How many times has there been a mass shooting where 9 people including children were shot and they all survived?"

I wonder what they would say if you asked them, "Someone wants to kill a bunch of people and you get the choice of whether they have a gun or a knife, what weapon do you choose for them?"
