Youre obviously determined to undermine the Mueller investigation along with undermining every person, every document, every statement from every witness that points to your pResident and his cohorts being up to their eyeballs in collusion with Russia.
Why?
You have obstructed every attempt to get at the truth of what your pResident knew and when he knew it.
Why?
You continue to use every dirty political tool in the book in order to stop all investigations, all inquiries, even all vaguely inconvenient questions raised about your pResidents activities in connection with Russian operatives. You have dismissed all such connections as irrelevant, trivial, and/or amazing coincidences.
Why?
You have maintained that your pResidents many, many, MANY obvious policies that favour Russian interests to the detriment of American interests are meaningless and of no consequence whatsoever.
Why?
If your pResident is completely innocent of any wrongdoing, why are you not supporting investigations that would clear him of any perceived wrongdoing, instead of trying to shut those investigations down?
Why?
Your pResident has acted like a guilty man from day one. And you continue to make him look even more guilty by your persistence that any evidence of his guilt be deemed questionable, without merit, and ultimately surpressed.
Why?
The innocent rely on the facts to prove their innocence. Why are you so determined to ensure that the facts are never known especially by the voting public?
The answer appears to be obvious. The corruption within your party is widespread. Trumps crimes against the country required collaborators and they were easily found, and more than willing to play along to get along.
The fact that no one in your party can answer that simple question WHY? seems to point to the obvious answer: You KNOW your pResident is guilty of treason, and self-serving, self-preservation has led you to aiding-and-abetting the traitor in your midst.
There is no other logical explanation for your insistence that no questions be asked, and that those who continue to do the asking be vilified.
There IS no other logical explanation. Its as simple as that.

(15,751 posts)Seems that very often, anything goes in 'war' attitudes. A relative I know well, expressed it long ago when he was casually talking about the Panama Canal ownership issue at that time. Did we have to turn over rights which the US built, back to Panama? Succinct statement, 'we stole it fair and square, end of story.' [Guilt dismissed and denied].
These kind of attitudes may help explain some of how many Republican parents/grandparents look past the horrible, trump 'zero tolerance' 'policies'. The 'US' seizing and separating young children and babies even, from their parents, and incarcerating them under terrible conditions - and just looking past that, as they do of millions of refugees' desperation around the world. And, looking 'past' all the terrible things trump has done!
Thank you NanceGreggs
