(2,187 posts)Jim Jordan has proven who he is. Let's hope the voters believe him. When is he up for re-election?

(1,028 posts)Since 2016, national politics in this country has taken a dark turn. The Trump Administration, supported by Jim Jordan, has proposed, among other things, massive cuts to healthcare and a tax plan that helps the very rich and hurts the middle class. It has been a tough year to watch from the sidelines, but so far the people in Ohio have given me hope. There is so much energy at the grassroots level. Even with all of the pessimism coming out of Washington, the movement for a brighter future is picking up steam. When I speak with people at events around the fourth district there are always people who are getting involved with politics for the first time. People are tired of politicians who are in it for themselves. They are ready for new opportunities and a brighter tomorrow. Every one of these people, young and old, gives me hope and inspires me to keep fighting for the government that we deserve.

(260 posts)But he won his district by better than 2-1 in 2016, as much as I'd like to see him go away it doesn't seem likely. Is his entire district heavily weighted to authoritarians?

Just another in a continuing series of Swiss cheese republi-CONS. Haughty smug self-anointed big-cheese types with a lot of holes in them. And left out in the open, they do what many cheeses left out in the open do: they start to stink.

Ohio State University announced in April that it was investigating accusations that Dr. Richard Strauss, who died in 2005, abused team members when he was the team doctor from the mid-1970s to late 1990. As of Friday, Jordan had not been questioned by the university-hired lawyers https://t.co/0EoJ9f70QY
