One doesn't have to look very far to find people who had no standing to vote for or against him, shouting at the top of their lungs that he should resign.

Franken is gone...I wasn't happy about it, but I wasn't happy he didn't try to fight this thing either. Why bring Gillibrand into this...over 30 other Senators said the same thing ...including mine whom I adore...Sen. Sherrod Brown?

Oh I see, I am supposed to pretend that the OP didn't refer to the Franken mess because he didn't name Franken outright...others on the post did. Well this is divisive and in my opinion unnecessary. Franken is gone and throwing shade at a sitting Senator for something 38 other Senators did is wrong. Whatever or opinion of this might be, it is over.

The Franken supporters always somehow leave out that Franken apologized for how he treated women in their zeal to do anything to proclaim his innocence. Much like Republicans overlook Roy Moore and Donald Trump for partisan reasons, so do many Democrats overlook Franken for partisan reasons. I'm sorry if you don't like it, but the reality is Franken is gone and gone because he couldn't keep his hands to himself. Nobody bashed Franken for anything other than sexual harassment.

Also the first accuser came out on November 16th and the calls to resign came on December 7th. Which you might notice aren't a day apart.
