Sometimes I can be having a perfectly good day when it is ruined by a sudden wave of

nausea/disgust brought on by someone on TV or the radio saying "president" Trump. Just the sound of that title being publicly used to describe the most traitorous, corrupt, incompetent waste of skin to ever disgrace us as a nation is all it takes to jar me back to the reality of "Oh, yeah---he's still here!"

"Civil" you say? That ain't happening any time soon.

Those 2 words together or the sound of his voice...I can't deal with it.
Recently bought a used car that has satellite radio from the former owner. A truly wonderful way to not hear any news while driving. I LOVE the Beatles channel. I will pay to extend the subscription when it runs out.

Just look at it now and then for the captions so you don't miss something big that you might actually want to hear.

Or turn it off and check in to DU now and then to see if there s anything worth turning on the tv for.

I use both methods and my stress level has been reduced. Wish I could bear turning everything off - but not there yet

But the daily wearing down of what the o.p. cites is as bad as it can be. & Nixon, Raygun, & Shrub seemed intolerable, and now what we're living through and living under is immeasureably, incredibly worse. At my age, it galls to finish up whatever shorter or longer time I've got left with our current, continual pain in the gut. DU has been a fantastical therapy since the brutal shock of Coup 2000, so there's that.

focus on your breathing, focus on your shoulders neck back, loosen and relax them.

The bad stuff exists, don't be unaware of it, but make yourself physically comfortable, and get back to not feeling bad.

It's for the good of the country, as well as yourself.

My "radio" (OK, it's a Google Home speaker) is permanently on BBC World Service.

Newsday - BBC's news aimed at Africa in the morning - had no news that mentioned Trump. More pressing issues like Germany's government had sorted itself out over immigration policy, Ugandas tax on accessing social media, Cape Town South Africa no longer has a direct water shortage (they now have flooding) and Belgium beat Japan in the World Cup. Those were what I could remember being covered...

It's like a heavy weight & storm clouds over the country. We are all going to suffer because of dangerous trump and the corrupt repub party. I hate to say it, but I really want trump's cult followers to suffer. They deserve to suffer.

He did not earn that title-- he STOLE it.

I will never consider him anything more than a good-for-nothing piece of garbage.
