as leader. I've not been happy with my senator since he sided with another country against his own and president. Further, I find it extremely frustrating that his phone ALWAYS is busy and in all the times I've tried to call, and I've tried all his offices, no go. And if you want to send an email it's a long form that doesn't lead me to believe it gets read. He's passive and while I can't believe he isn't interested. When the new leader was chosen after Reid it was between Schumer & Durbin. To my mind, Durbin would've been the better choice. At least he's been visible whereas you hardly ever see Schumer.

He's kind of mealy-mouthed sometimes, but he listens to his constituents. I always receive prompt responses from his staff and they are real, thoughtful answers -- not just form correspondence.

Schumer... I don't think there's any moving this guy barring his seat getting jeopardized. I also have a sneaking suspicion that he was behind the Franken ouster.

He does have to go. I like Durbin short-term for the experience, but I also like Harris.

While the math is certainly not in our favor but giving up and being passive before doing anything at all is a huge problem from a leader. Reid wouldn't have done. And excuse me, scheduling a town hall in summer in a non air-conditioned venue was either deliberate or the result of not giving two thoughts to the meeting.

We need a leader in the Senate who is willing to take it right to Dump...no backing down.
