I will also add that I choose if I stand for the pledge of allegiance. I often remain seated and/or silent and seldom recite the pledge, and never as it is now written.

Perhaps fly a flag with a hate has no home sign nearby, or some other saying that you believe truly represents what this country should stand for.

The flag should be flown and respected by all true patriots. The GOP has disgraced this country and the symbols of this country by their complete capitulation to enemies of the United States and the Constitution, both domestic and foreign.

You can fly your flag proudly and follow the flag code, in quiet rebuke of your neighbors' support of the destruction of this once proud land in the service of oligarchs and Putin. By using their personal insecurities, fears and hatreds to manipulate them to vote against their own interests, they have become useful idiots to the very forces that will destroy them, unless we true patriots can rise an effective defense against these forces for evil, greed and fear.

Have a great 4th of July and fly our flag with pride and hope for a better future.
