In searching for some explanation for Trump's slavish dedication to whatever Putin

"suggests", most of us have settled on "kompromat"---that is, secret information that would be extremely embarrassing and/or legally incriminating--- as the likely reason Trump dares not do anything to displease Vlad. So, what explains why the GOP, with few exceptions, ALLOWS Trump to repeatedly betray our national interests and destroy decades of painstakingly constructed policies and relationships?

Isn't one very plausible explanation that the Russians are also blackmailing McConnell, Ryan and many other Republicans with their own kompromat? I will not be shocked if Mueller's report includes evidence of Russian financing and otherwise assisting the election of this GOP majority and instances of their obstruction of justice as it dawned on them that their asses are in the same sling as Dear Leader's.

They are cornered rats and will do ANYTHING to escape.

Imo..they knew the NRA was funded by Russia and they took the money anyway bc they knew the people of the USA are unwilling, or unable to effectively push back on the NRA (yet). They have the Second Amendment crammed so far up everyones hynee"s (sp).
