Is it me, or is the weather hotter and

the forecast on your phone and on tv off everyday now by sometime 7-8 degrees? I've noticed the "next week forecast" always says high 70's, low 80's several days out, that seem to turn into 90+ degrees by the time that day hits? This "heat dome" was supposed to be a three day event...Its turning into a week plus of heat indexes at 105 to 110 degrees. Why don't we get extended forecasts much at all anymore?
Are we hitting runaway temperatures that are waving Dangerous red flags at us? Is this the new normal? Wtf is going on with the climate this year? And why isn't the dear leader saying anything about it? The consistent heat is alarming.

I'm sure they can guess *sort of* how the weather will be similar to norms like the Farmer's Almanac does. Then when we reach that week the meteorologists fine-tune the forecast based on actual conditions.

"Weather is chaotic, which means that even a microscopic disturbance can lead to large scale changes. That’s why those 10-day weather forecasts are useless ..."

Just because people may have used them to plan vacations doesn't mean they were accurate.

But I boat on the gulf. Long term forecasts have always been shit.

Of course, perhaps the gulf creates too many variables not applicable where you live.

Anything past 96 hours is bunk. Anything past 72 hours is a wild-ass guess.

It's obvious the further you go out the more it's a guess. I remember reasonably accurate 10 day forecasts for most of my adult life. Nothing is perfect obviously, but, it seems now that the forecast is for too cold of temperatures and when the day actually arrives it's usually much warmer. (Some days last week almost 10 degrees off wn a few days of that very day). Ten degrees is quite a dismal prediction, imho.
considering the EPA etc is scrubbing Climate Change wording from the databases, I just wondered if there is something happening we as people don't know, but, people in the weather circles DO know.
