they had the food trucks, the bands and then a really nice display that lased 25 minutes or more with piped in Americana songs but it was nice. I just concentrated on my hubby and kids.
My baby a papitese sat between us and watched the fireworks. Did not phase him as long as we were right there with him. All in all, It was a nice time .
To top if off, two of my former students came by to said hello and that they loved me.
IT is always nice to be recognized as their teacher. That is why we do what we do.!

(205,320 posts)We had fireworks on Tuesday night here. I was driving home and passed right by fireworks ground zero, I wssn't expecting to suddenly hear explosions, I actually screamed out loud!
And I'm glad that your pup was okay with it. My previous dog was a Cairn Terrier and he was inconsolable if he heard fireworks or thunder.
I had to look up what kind of dog you have, they look adorable! My present dog is a Brussels Griffon, but yours must be even more unusual - and very cute!
