Who cares if it's a political plot? He apparently stood by, knowingly, while sexual abuse was carried out. Who cares why it's being brought to public attention now, or yesterday, or ten years from now? The timing of the information isn't important; whether he did it or not is what matters. Don't be drawn into quibbling over tit for tat! This is a serious matter he's accused of, and it doesn't matter how or why it came to light right now. Address the substance, not the frippery.
