(359 posts)still intent on destroying the environment
The departure of Scott Pruitt, the scandal-plagued former head of the Environmental Protection Agency, means that the agency will be led in the coming months by Mr. Pruitts deputy, Andrew Wheeler, a former coal lobbyist who shares Mr. Pruitts zeal to undo environmental regulations.

In fact, Zinke's sister in law who only talks to me if there's no one else around grabbed me in the grocery store recently and talked my ears off. My kiddo was with me and he said later "wow mama, that was just weird"...which it certainly was.

(64 posts)Resignation isn't enough from this criminal. I want public humiliation, endless harrassment to him and his family, monetary ruin that completely wipes out his finances forcing him to be poor, sexual scandal that embarrasses him and his family, lawsuits that bankrupt him and his children, and as a final blow - a massive, jaw-breaking punch to the face...which I'd be happy to administer.
Fuck Scott Pruitt and his family for eternity. I mean this 100%.

All this means is they go underground now, with their dastardly agenda.
Scott Pruitt was a big fat open wound, oozing oceans of pus in public, attracting all kinds of negative attention. Its whoever replaces him thats a concern. Could be the same kind of monster, just less scandal-prone.
This is NOT the time to declare Mission Accomplished and roll over and go back to sleep. Because Mission has NOT been accomplished. Ive heard the most likely to succeed guy is a fellow climate crisis denier, and more.

Good riddance. Hopefully he gets investigated.

(1,002 posts)There IS a Goddess! The birds are singing songs of joy, the cougars and the lynx and the bobcats are all acting as if they have imbibed grade A Numero Uno catnip. The chipmunks are chipping and the squirrels have brought out all their carefully squirreled away nuts for a feast. The air already smells cleaner and all the brooks and streams are babbling with a song hopeful of clean water again. Even global warming has paused for a beat to join in the festivities.
I wish for Scott Pruitt an eternal afterlife spent forever on the kind of planet in the kind of environment he was ever so ready to force on our children and grandchildren - an environmental hell where every living creature was sentenced to terrible suffering followed by extinction.
May the great James Hanson dance on Pruitt's grave. And before that, may the coming DEMOCRATIC Congress and DEMOCRATIC POTUS put Pruitt on trial for the horrors and graft and theft and every other one of the numerous sins he so willingly and happily committed!
Please forgive my wild babbling of joy, but I am a biologist and an environmentalist and my joy knows no bounds. Now let us all together work to see that the events above do come true and a toast - CONFUSION TO OUR ENEMIES! HUZZAH!
