Michael Cohen Hires Lanny Davis, Lawyer Close to the Clintons
Mr. Davis said he was persuaded to help after Mr. Cohen said publicly that his loyalty was to his family and the country, as opposed to Mr. Trump.

(6,288 posts)As an attorney, Davis will do his job to negotiate the best possible outcome for his client.
Nothing more nor less.
That's his job.
But wait for the Media spin to drag Hillary Clinton's name into it, when it is Cohen's criminal behavior that brought him where he is today.
Davis will do the job his profession calls him to do.
Edit to absolve Miles Archer.
I was referring to Mr Corn.
My apologies for not making my post clear on that.

(6,288 posts)I was talking back to the Media who just cannot seem to state the news without adding an opinion for drama.
Trump has a new talking point thanks to this stupid remark.
I am surprised Corn would throw the story in that direction.
Ffs, don't taint the case by making it about something it is not.
Its not a big conspiracy dreamed up by HRC & Davis. Stfu David Corn.
Why would he do this?
Does he have a personal issue with Lanny Davis from the old days?
Where'd he get the idea to make such a juvenile statement

(18,837 posts)I just didn't want to be the one to open that can of worms. It went from a tweet to a headline on Raw Story, so it may get posted by someone else, but I didn't want to be the one to initiate that conversation.
ONE possibility is that he threw it out there before someone like Hannity could get their hooks into it, which will happen anyway.
I don't know. It definitely opens up a conversation I don't want to be part of, and didn't really think that through before adding it to my post.

(6,288 posts)It will be news somewhere soon enough.
Think I'll trash that thread when it shows up here.
Thanks to you, I have now stated my opinion.
Beer to you too cuz somedays its just all too unbelieveable

(6,288 posts)It was necessary for context.
It should be posted to make the point of what took place, clear.
You weren't out of line at all with your posting.
Your posts actually are never out of line!
Always appreciate your professionalism Miles Archer.
Put it back!
Miles Archer
(18,837 posts)Not from you.
I just went "oh fuck" when I read your reply, and as I said, it wasn't because of what you wrote, it's that I saw the flashing red light of a jury alert in my rear view mirror, and I'm not taking that hit.
Someone else can post it.

and, while I agree that Davis will do his job professionally, it's also hard to ignore the connection.

It's on Raw Story.
Posting it was jury alert bait, which I didn't think of at the time, so I deleted it.
