He sounded drunk — and it got worse as the time passed by (as though whatever was kicking in). He was slurring again and breathing loudly and heavily (again). Then he made totally absurd BLATANTLY FALSE CLAIMS like “so many car companies have come back they can’t hire enough workers!”

And he claimed that Apple is spending 350 billion dollars here now and opening multiple factories right now in the US — also statements that used specific, racist statements — like the claim that Maxine Waters has an “IQ of 60” and weird references to dna tests and that Elizabeth Warren is not an “Indian” repeatedly saying “Indian”)

I will never understand the people who yell/clap at the OBVIOUSLY FALSE statements about Apple, car companies.

Then the usual “we are winning now more than ever” yet we are also somehow in the most precarious position ever and only Trump can save us, etc etc etc

I saw this same crap play out (albeit on a smaller and tamer scale) when Jessie Ventura was governor of Minnesota. A lot of their fervor for a perceived strong man is a fantasy they want to believe so desperately. If it is proven otherwise, then it means they are stupid and picked the wrong guy. Their verbal gladiator is going to have to be bested and humiliated on an epic scale for them to slink away back into the shadows and fringes where they belong.

The second I hear he has stopped breathing I am breaking open a bottle of the bubbly that was on ice circa November 2016...and I am not kidding in the least...I am going to celebrate like its 1999 all over again that night.

He *says* he doesn’t drink or do drugs, but 1) he lies about eveything and 2) he is obviously on something.

I’d bet on cocaine, too, but I want to point out that almost everything he says it the opposite of reality. I don’t accept as fact that he doesn’t drink.

"not prairie dogs, just pregnant dogs. There's that fake news for you." I decided to check. First of all, it was the New York Post, and second of all, it *did* say pregnant prairie dogs--because the article was *about* shooting prairie dogs. In breeding season, when most of the females would be pregnant. No one eats them, and there was no wildlife management involved, according to the Post.

He's always been the loosest of cannons. His one element of genius is dark and twisted: he can destroy decades of diplomatic effort in mere moments; and he can shift the polarity of our traditional allies to newly-minted antagonists, while drawing in the world's worst human rights offenders.
