EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WBAY) - Former Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders will rally support for U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin's re-election in Eau Claire next week.

Baldwin's campaign announced Thursday the Vermont independent will headline a Baldwin campaign rally on Saturday, July 14, at the Lismore Hotel. The campaign says senators Baldwin and Sanders will "address the importance of putting working families first and fighting for affordable health care for all."

renamed the Made in America Act. It requires federal infrastructure projects like ports and bridges to use only American-made products.

Nothing new here apparently, though it underlines that it would apply to all agencies, but it should sound good to most people, and as before we of course should do it as much as is reasonable. (Some products just aren't economical made in the U.S.A, which can lead to sweetheart contracts and overpricing when the wrong people are in office.)

Senator Tina Smith of MN and Bernie Sanders are cosponsoring her bill.
