Which explains why the Dungeons and Dragons game has separate ratings for Intelligence and Wisdom.

How about I say MY IQ is 180! There's zero evidence of his "superior intellect." I checked his credentials and he was a Poly-Sci major for two years at MIT, never graduated. He was interested in theater there. BFD.

I think this James Woods IQ bullshit was a publicity stunt to make an ugly actor stand out.

But I truly think that IQ nonsense is just PR. There's nothing in his history to bear it out. Not one thing.

My question was rhetorical.

A High IQ on its own doesn't make someone interesting or admirable.

I believe it was James Randi who said that highly intelligent people are most vulnerable to flim-flam, because they think they are just too smart to be fooled--when, in fact, anyone can be fooled by a skilled enough charlatan.

What baffles me about Trump is that he's not even a skilled charlatan. Anyone with half a brain can see him coming a mile away.

"Although James Woods is certainly very accomplished, he is NOT a member of Mensa (see the disclaimer at the beginning of the article). However, his SAT scores put mine to shame (and probably yours, too), coming in at 1580, including a perfect 800 in the verbal section. After high school he moved on to MIT, where he was planning on majoring in political science. He didn’t quite make graduation, though – after joining the school’s drama troupe and acting in and directing a number of plays, James decided to drop out of MIT just shy of graduation to jumpstart his acting career."

I met him playing poker once... he and Mimi Rogers used to occasionally play in celeb poker tournaments with us regular folks.

I think he is highly intelligent (my SAT score matches his, and I was accepted to MIT but didn't attend there). Don't know about the IQ180 claim... mine is/was over 160.

Being highly intelligent (like Ben Stein) does NOT prevent one from holding some incredibly racist / stupid beliefs.

Or how about calling moochers and robber-baron capitalists "Libertarians".

Or how about calling theocrats "Evangelicals".

Or how about calling people who explode the deficit "fiscal conservatives".

Or how about calling Neonazis "Alt-Right".

Does he really want to abandon euphemisms?
