Anyway lately I've noticed threads asking where the democratic party will go.
What will liberals do once their party is eliminated from any prominence to
the public. Where will liberals go? These people sincerely believe that we are
done..has beens..dinosaurs..

Traditional progressive myself...and I have no problems getting primed for
battle, everyday..with those supporting the treachery in washington..24 - 7.
We all need to keep it in our thoughts...Because it is not an exaggeration to
say the right will continue to screw us over...on clean air, clean water..taxes,
and the economy..

that we only interact with like minded citizens.

They only listen to Faux... and rub shoulders with their fellow rural white ignorant compatriots (yes, that is a stereotype, but a valid one). We listen to CNN and MSNBC and rub shoulders with urban diverse educated compatriots.

Each side truly believes that they are in a majority... a vast majority.

In reality (and, for once, our side typically has a more reality based view of the world) the ratio is something like 60-40 or 58 - 42, with our side in the clear but not overwhelming majority. On certain subjects one can even see this majority decrease to near 50-50.

That they believe that they are not only a majority, but a huge majority of "real Americans" is actually good... leads them to a false sense of security. On our side, we have to be careful about thinking they won't show up because of that "false sense of security"... i.e. our fault is complacency and party or the purity of our ideology (infighting).
