What was their actual plan with the children?

Militarization of the boarder.
Taking the children into custody.
Setting up the concentration camps.
Spreading them out into rural and hard to get to locations.
This was likely meant as a one way trip for most.

The very point that they are doing DNA tests means that they had zero intentions of reuniting any child with any parent

The other more ominous reason is that they are creating a DNA catalog of thousands of people that were guilty of a misdemeanor at worst. Not to mention thousands of children who are guilty of nothing.

What is the trump administration specifically testing for? Who has that data? Who else has access to that data? How is that private medical information being protected? What is the intention for that data? What is the future disposition of that data?

The point is that the entire thing has been a lie. They lied to us. They lied to the courts.

While we would like to assume it was just incompetence and incredibly poor planning. The truth could be far more ominous.

Over 3000 kids are a lot of kids to kidnap.

There must have been a plan to use them somehow. Then there is the shipping them around the country willy nilly.

Unless it was for nefarious purposes, there would be no reason to kidnap them, lose them and not keep track of how many there are and who they are.

Those questions MUST be answered NOW, along with an investigation into it to hold the perps accountable.

As it stands, it's kidnapping for ransom of some sort, plain and simple.

What can be explained by stupidity.

Even the slimmest of thought would have had them putting arm bands around the kids and parents much like hospitals do. They would have had bar codes so that they could have be kept coordinated. But this administration doesn't think beyond the afternoon.

To permanently damage these children , and hurt their parents with , and now are keeping them apart. That's how cruel and brutal trump and the gop have become, and normalized putting babies in cages. All while they're setting up a lot more concentration camps for immigrants , and they'll soon add others to the list they hate. Nazi Germany again.

The answer many of us might not want to hear is what the actual plan for immigrants, legal or illegal, is supposed to be.
