He is a congenital idiot who can’t stop talking about himself. He just vomits the stream of consciousness he’s been stuck in for life. He fancies himself a clever wit for the ages when only idiocrats are present. He preens and bloviates ad nauseum. His audiences look like the living brain dead until he repeats the cheer lines to give them the Pavlovian signal to cheer. Otherwise they just drool the rage spittle that congregates in the corners of their lips.

I don’t get why critics are still trying to make sense of what he says. There is no there there.

I’ve dealt with enough elderly relatives to know it when I see it.

I think if he had dementia he would be lost during times. He would not be reacting to his audience. He would look befuddled and confused and would wander off the stage. He would say gibberish disconnected to any situation he’s in. He would interrupt his words to look blank because he wouldn’t be able to stick to a line of thought.

I’ll buy that there’s something wrong with him, but at least up to now I’m not buying the dementia theory.

But he shows the same signs I saw in my relatives:

He loses his train of thought.

He repeats himself.

He makes stuff up when he can’t remember and BELIEVES it.

He obsesses over seemingly minor things.

He overreacts to perceived threats.

16. My mother had dementia

She did act pretty normal in many ways, even when it had advanced over a five year period. But she didn’t start off being a pompous asshole like he is. She mostly got quieter, although she always looked normal. She didn’t converse but she did respond correctly when we talked to her. I guess one of the things that happens is most conversation just stops at some point.

Maybe the fact that he’s been reversing what he says every few days is part of that confusion.
