Trump is having dinner w/Pence at Bedminster, discussing SCOTUS & "very, very exciting Space Force"

WASHINGTON -- President Donald Trump arrived at his Bedminster golf club late Thursday night, flying in from a campaign-style rally in Montana.

Air Force One landed at Newark Airport at 11:33 p.m. on Trump's return to New Jersey, according to White House pool reports. The president then traveled by helicopter to Bedminster. It was his second straight weekend in the Garden State.

While at Bedminster, Trump will have dinner Friday with Vice President Mike Pence.

"We're going to go over the Supreme Court and some other things that we're working on," Trump told reporters en route to Montana, according to pool reports. "I do think that something very, very exciting is Space Force. There is tremendous excitement about Space Force."

1. You know that "Space Force" isn't a thing, right Donald?

It's something you've made up in your own mind, but it will require an act of Congress to actually create it. You know that, don't you?

Oh, and for nj.com, that wasn't a "campaign-style rally in Montana," it WAS a campaign rally. At least, it better have been, because I don't think that's a responsible or legal use of taxpayer money. If Trump's re-election campaign wants to pay for that little jaunt and its resulting incoherencies, that's fine. But it shouldn't be done on the taxpayer's dime.
