____Deray McKesson is a teacher who hails from Baltimore (my neck of the woods) had been in Ferguson since the beginning of the protests. He's immediately recognizable in his blue down vest and well-known to anyone who followed events in Ferguson on Twitter, and is familiar with the Black Lives Matter Movement.

Really--I gasped at the strength and sheer beauty (and I'm not talking about "handsome" or anything so shallow; this man is *beautiful* in a non-physical way that somehow comes through in the photo). This is a magnificent photograph.

and self-taught. What a treasure this guy is. Thanks for the tip--he was totally off my radar (not that I'm into photography enough to even have a radar). The depth and richness of texture and form in his pictures is astounding.
