I can see November from my front porch...

We may make it yet.

A year and a half ago, it seemed so distant as to be impossible. But, we can now see November on the horizon. The people will get a chance to speak at the polls.

Hopefully, the Trump fascists will be tossed out on their ears. They have put our country thru a political hell. They cling to the trump's polls as if they were a security blanket. However, if the polls begin to shrink, panic will ensue in the former Republican Party.

They had their chance to save their once-proud Party but they chose to tie their political fortunes, and the future of their Party, to the rambling racist rants of Donald J Trump. May history record that they paid a severe price.

Election day is now less than 4 months away. We can see the finish line. Our hope is that the American people will send a strong message to the traitorous Republican Party.

and the mid-term elections aren't cancelled.

Trump may very well do something like that, if he fires Rosenstein and terminates Mueller's investigation and there's rioting in the streets as a result.

And Congressional Republicans would be cool with that.

To say nothing of homegrown, complicit Republican electoral shenanigans.

It had zero chance when it was said about Obama and Bush.

But as we've seen with Trump's win, ANYTHING can happen.

Personally, I don't want a blue "wave." I want a perfect-storm-sized, absolute tsunami/hurricane/tornado. I want them to be annihilated at the polls in November. I want the Democrats to win 100 House seats and gain hundreds of state legislature seats around the country. I want the American people to reject Trump SO emphatically that he has to slink off into oblivion.

That's not too much to ask, is it???

...then so will the chances for the Republicans. They will go under with him. They made the decision to stick with him, and by November, they may regret that decision very much.

I think his polls will be somewhere in the 30's by election day. That would not bode well for the Republicans. There simply are not enough fools in the country to protect them.
