Trump and his band of (we ignore history) advisers believe America will win the tariff war because we have the strongest economy, we can take more economic pain. History tells us no one wins a tariff war.

Saw dust for brains Trump does not understand the global economy has become completely intertwined. If you start a tariff war you cannot predict what will happen because of how complex the global economy has become. One thing is certain, Americans will get hurt. Trump voters will get hurt.

I believe Trump will continue the tariff war until he sees a drop in his poll numbers, By then it may be to late for Trump. He may not be able to fix it.
