I have known her my whole life. She has had an awful time of it lately and now is in imminent danger of losing everything. She is terrified of losing her dog and cats too. She nursed her elderly mother until her recent passing about a month ago and her boyfriend has just told her he is leaving so now she doesn’t have enough income to keep her house. If she can hold on to it while she finds a housemate to share expenses she might be able to stay.

I encouraged her to start the go fund me, I want her to have some hope. And even if she can’t save her house, having some cash on hand to start somewhere else would be a comfort. She is terrified. Still processing her mom’s death in May, the longtime boyfriend leaving was an unexpected blow.
